Photos must be in JPEG format (.jpg)

To add a photo to a Person:
1. Open a person's record.
2. On the left side under the person's name, click on the “Browse…” button.
3. Select the photo of the person on your computer and click the “Open” button.
4. Click the “Upload Photo” button.

To add a photo to a Family:
1. Open a family's record.
2. On the left side under the family's name, click on the “Browse…” button.
3. Select the photo of the family on your computer and click the “Open” button.
4. Click the “Upload Photo” button.

NOTES:
1. The photo will be copied from your computer to the ChurchInfo system. The system creates a thumbnail image to display on the person's record. The thumbnail image is linked so you can click on it to view the photo in its original size.

2. The thumbnail image is scaled down in size and resolution in order to conserve space. The thumbnail image may not look as good as the original image, but when you click on it you will see the photo in its original size.

3. If ChurchInfo displays an error containing the words ”…access denied…” when you first try to upload an image, it means you need to give ChurchInfo permission to store the image file on your Web site. This can be done by giving the following directories “write access” (CHMOD 777):
<churchinfo_home>/Images/Family
<churchinfo_home>/Images/Family/thumbnails
<churchinfo_home>/Images/Person
<churchinfo_home>/Images/Person/thumbnails
If this sounds foreign to you, please ask your Web hosting company to do this.
